Bound in original publisher's marbled paper over boards, tips and spine in very dark green sunned cloth almost to greenish-brown, moderate rubbing, soiling to covers, scratches to five raised bands, joints, edges, rubbing with marbled endpapers, waffle to text block, toning to center of pages, otherwise a clean and well bound interior, fairly bright and with extended original margins. Original first edition title page flipped to full second title page and with a fine black and white engraved frontispiece by Sir Jonah Barrington. Moderate foxing to plates, less to rest of text block. The sprinkled engraved bust portraits are quite nice, depicting lords and ladies relevant to Irish history and culture. xiij + 494 pages.
